BIWS Brick ("the app") is an investment banking interview practice app made by Vinson Chen, an independent developer based in Sydney, Australia. This policy explains what information the app handles. In short: there are no accounts, no ads, no tracking, and your study progress stays on your phone.
Your answers, study progress, streaks, settings and onboarding answers (such as your daily phone time and interview timeline) are saved only on your iPhone. They are not sent to us or anyone else. Deleting the app deletes this data, and you can erase it at any time in Settings → Reset progress.
If you set up the optional Shortcuts automation, iOS runs the app's "BIWS Quiz" action when you open apps you choose (such as Instagram or TikTok). The app does not read, collect or receive any information from those apps; it only knows that the action was run, so it can show you a question.
Payments are handled by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see your name, email address or payment details.
We use RevenueCat, Inc. to manage subscriptions. To check whether you have an active subscription, the app shares with RevenueCat a random anonymous identifier created by the app, your purchase and subscription history from Apple, your country or region, and basic device and app information (such as iOS and app version). This is used only to provide and restore your subscription and to see aggregate sales figures. RevenueCat's privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
The app is intended for university students and adults preparing for finance interviews. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
You can delete your on-device data at any time by resetting progress or deleting the app. You can manage or cancel your subscription in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. To ask about, or request deletion of, the purchase records held by RevenueCat, contact us using the details below.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
